who I am.

Muxoxo. Moo-Show-Shoe. I’ve been told by an old friend that it’s a Portuguese colloquialism that means Pouty Face. I’ve looked it up and it is equivalent to saying “tut-tut”.

My name is Sam Falbo. I’m a creative director, a graphic designer, a paper cutter, a lapsed screen printer, a novice curler, and a dad. I live in Minneapolis, Minnesota with my wife and two kids. We’ve been here for 13 years now and we love it.

I am originally from Buffalo, NY (Go Sabres. Go Bills.) and yes, it snows a lot there. After getting degrees in both English and Visual Communication from SUNY Buffalo, I moved to New York City and worked in the internal design department at Forbes, Inc – while trying to dodge the mice and strange roommates I was living with.

About 2 weeks before Y2K, I moved to Chicago where I spent the next 10 years doing great work with The Chicago Catalog Group and then Haggin Marketing (Solution Set). I got married, started a family and decided in 2010 to relocate north to Minneapolis and start working with Quad.

So that’s me. Feel free to contact me. Look for me on instagram (it’s private, but reach out and I’ll add you). Thanks for stopping by.

Sam
